Life at MA

Welcome back! Thank you for continuing to engage with The 1600 as one of our valuable

readers. Or, if this is your first time picking up a copy of MA’s student newspaper,

welcome! For the past year and a half, we’ve been uplifting voices, examining the world

around us, asking the hard questions, and watching all of you enjoy the paper we work so

hard on. We like to think of the student newspaper as more than just a club; it’s an outlet for

students and faculty to voice their thoughts, hear from their peers, and tangibly exercise

their first amendment rights. The importance of upholding democracy only increases as the

constitution continues to be scrutinized and re-examined in our rapidly changing political

landscape. We’d like to give our deepest thanks to Travis Brownley, Tyren Dandridge,

Nicole Stanton, and Stella Beale for their support, and recognize all our writers, editors,

photographers, and formatters who make this newspaper possible. With that, read on!
