This is a big moment. If you’re reading this, you’re reading the first and only 2024 edition of The 1600. We’ve spent months working with our writers and editors across grades, fine-tuning every aspect of this paper to blend both timeless quality and modern opinions into this final product. We hope that you enjoy reading our Fall paper as much as we enjoyed creating it. In this edition, you’ll find a range of voices discussing topics from abortion to fashion, and all of these pieces are the product of hard work and commitment from The 1600 team. These articles represent real opinions of MA students who are passionate about making change in their community, spreading truth, and sparking conversation. We hope you not only read this edition, but turn writing into action by discussing these topics with friends, family, and peers.
