Though it’s only the third year of the MA’s Girls’ Field Hockey program, the team’s spirit and chemistry are stronger than ever. Both the varsity and JV squads had an exciting fall season filled with energy, teamwork, and school pride.
If you didn’t have the chance to attend a game, you can expect sharp communication, quick plays, and a team that celebrates every goal together. The varsity team earned impressive wins against Archie Williams and Berkeley, while JV defeated Berkeley, Convent, and Archie Williams.
JV player Rosie ’28 shared that “the team chemistry is excellent this year,” and it shows both on and off the field. Seniors Thira Hock, Amy Salama, Makena Tedford, Grace Bramble, and Ruby Cole lead the way on varsity, setting the tone for teamwork and spirit. The varsity captains this year are junior Grace Kawaja and seniors Makena Tedford and Ruby Cole, who inspire their teammates with their energy and dedication. Both teams also keep the MA community connected through their Instagram pages and show their school pride on game days with fun, themed outfits. With their momentum and enthusiasm, MA field hockey is just getting started.
